The Catholic Charismatic Center is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for children, youth, vulnerable adults, and families. In accordance with the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, all volunteers serving in ministry must complete Safe Environment requirements before beginning service. These requirements help ensure that everyone entrusted to our care is protected and that our ministries remain places of faith, trust, and respect.

To Become an Approved Volunteer, You Must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Complete the Archdiocesan Safe Environment Training through CMGConnect.
• Successfully complete a criminal background check.
• Receive approval before beginning volunteer service.
• Renew Safe Environment training and background screening every five years to remain in compliance.

What Is Safe Environment Training?

The Archdiocese's Safe Environment program includes the "Safe Haven – It's Up to You" training, which equips volunteers to recognize warning signs of abuse, understand appropriate boundaries, identify grooming behaviors, and help create safe and healthy ministry environments for everyone.
